Auto Purge

On our email servers, the Trash / Deleted Items folder has been set to automatically purge all emails older than 32 days. This has been done because we have found that many email applications are not set to automatically purge the Trash / Deleted Items folder by default, so there was a continual build-up of emails in the folder which increasingly caused problems to the user's computer as it got bigger and bigger.

The more emails there are in a single folder, the larger the index file is, and the longer it takes for the email client to synchronise with the server each time it does a send/receive.
