How to set up my email account: Difference between revisions

If your Forget About IT™ server is mail enabled, then you will need the following settings in order to configure your email client:

Your Server Name: remote.<your domain name> or mail.<your domain name>
Your Server Type: IMAP (or to be pedantic IMAP4) for incoming, and SMTP for outgoing
Your Account Username/ID (This is usually the same name as you use to log in to your computer in the morning, or to log into webmail)
Your Password (Hopefully you will already know this, as we cannot find out what your password is as it stored as an encrypted form)
