If your Forget About IT™ server is mail enabled, then you will need the following settings in order to configure your email client:
- Server Name: Usually remote.<your domain name> or mail.<your domain name>. Often you can use a short name such as "server" on its own if the computer is not used outside of the office network.
- Server Type: IMAP (or to be pedantic IMAP4).
- User Name / Account ID: This is usually the same name as you use to log in to your computer in the morning, or to log into webmail.
- Password: Hopefully you will already know this, as we cannot find out what your password is as it stored as an encrypted form.
