How to set up my email account: Difference between revisions

If your Forget About IT™ server is mail enabled, then you will need the following settings in order to configure your email client:

Your Server Name:
- remote.<your domain name> or mail.<your domain name>
Your Server Type:
- IMAP for incoming (or to be pedantic IMAP4)
- SMTP for outgoing
Your Account Username/ID
- This is usually the same name as you use to log in to your computer in the morning, or to log into webmail.
Your Password
- Hopefully you will already know this, as we cannot find out what your password is as it stored as an encrypted form.
