How to hide deleted messages in Outlook

To hide messages marked for deleting from view in a folder in Windows Mail, Outlook or Outlook Express: 

   * Select View | Current View | Show Deleted Messages from the menu so that the item is not checked.

You may also want to purge them automatically (but be careful as it will be gone forever)
